WooMe woos at TechCrunch 40

So TechCrunch 40 is done and dusted. There were a lot of stand out companies this year with one in particular showing a lot of promise.

WooMe is an internet startup targeting the speed dating arena. With the tagline "enjoy the minute", WooMe allows people to engage in brief speed dating sessions with high quality video and audio via their web browser; requiring only a webcam and Adobe's Flash Player. In fact, a webcam isn't necessary seeing as voice-only sessions can be had (though not as engaging obviously).

And for those wondering if you can have gay and lesbian sessions ... yes, yes you can.
